Become a certified infant / baby massage instructorWhat is a CIMI?

A member of the international network of IAIM instructors

The term Certified Infant Massage Instructor (or 'CIMI') describes an instructor who has trained and qualified with the International Association of Infant Massage (IAIM). There are literally thousands of IAIM CIMIs across the globe, delivering the IAIM syllabus to parents and carers in over 40 countries. A key component of a CIMI’s training with IAIM is the practical teaching unit. Trainees are observed and assessed teaching actual parents and their babies to ensure all IAIM instructors maintain their reputation of offering only the very best quality service.

Men and women from a diversity of cultural backgrounds and occupations

CIMIs come from all walks of life. You may be an existing massage therapist wanting to extend your service, or a midwife or doula seeking additional skills and benefits to pass on to your patients. While many of our trainees set up their own successful businesses after qualifying, some are health professionals who simply want to add another dimension to their knowledge. Our training courses are attended by men and women from a diversity of cultural backgrounds and occupations.
